“The Place Where I Live” - York Learning

In January 2020 York Learning launched their annual community art project - “The Place Where I live” and offered a series of free workshops. At the time it was not known that a pandemic would come to affect us all, but over the last 18 months small sections of the city map have gradually been created by members of the York community and the final piece is almost nearing completion.

You are now welcome to join us at Southlands Methodist Church on Bishopthorpe Road to help complete the map before it heads off to be exhibited at York City Screen as part of a York Learning exhibition of community art work. The final exhibition of the work will be at City Screen (upper gallery) from mid October.

This workshop will take place on Saturday 2nd October between 10am to 12pm in the New Hall area of the Church and is FREE to attend.
