Portrait work by resident artist - Karen Winship - will be on display in our Foyer Gallery throughout December and January. You will also find further pieces of this collection in the New Hall (Church) area of the building.

The best days / times to see the exhibition are either on Thursdays (11am to 2pm) or Saturdays (10am to 12pm).

“NHS heroes” was inspired by Tom Croft’s #portraitsfornhsheroes - where artists signed up to complete one free portrait in appreciation of the NHS. Karen actually went on to paint 24 portraits in all - which were gifted to their subjects.

Most of the paintings in this series are unknown to the artist but made a connection through Facebook and come from all around Britain.
